The drawer pedestal is the detail I didn't know I needed—two box drawers plus the file drawer keep all my paperwork off the desktop. My coworker and I share the 5x5 setup and there's still room to spread out. Solid build, no wobble at all.
Wasn't sure a 5x5 footprint would feel roomy, but my coworker and I each have our own side and don't bump elbows. The box/box/file pedestal swallows all my paperwork and the drawer glides are smooth, not that cheap grinding feel. Setup took most of an afternoon but it's solid now.
The box/box/file pedestal is the part I didn't know I needed — the bottom file drawer swallows hanging folders and the top boxes keep pens and cables out of sight. The 5x5 footprint slid right into our spare room and both workstations feel separate without a wall between them. Really solid buy.
