Swapped our closed-off rows for these and the team actually talks now instead of emailing across the aisle. The shared surfaces fit both of our monitors plus a laptop without feeling cramped, and the 6x6 footprint still leaves room to roll a chair around.
The low panels make it so easy to just turn around and ask a question instead of sending yet another email. We fit six of these in the same footprint that used to hold four closed-off cubicles, and the team actually talks now. Assembly took most of a Saturday, but it was worth it.
The 54-inch height gives decent privacy when you're seated but the open sides mean noise carries straight across. Assembly took most of an afternoon, and the shared surface scratches easier than I'd like. It's fine for a team that talks all day, less so if you need to concentrate.
